Starting in with an unrestrained intense sound, SHADOW’S FAR is someone to keep you eyes focused on; Switzerland’s metal scene will never be the same. Strapping vocals hail out of Dany Philipp’s mouth with an extreme grasp on the listeners. From first song to the very last, Lost In Contemplation is surly an album everyone should have in their collection. A powerful edgy metal sound is very pleasing to hear coming from this talented band. Any Pantera fan would be quite pleased since SHADOW’S FAR has somewhat of a familiar taste to them. Myself being a Pantera fan was won over from first listen, with the impressive similar sound, there is still a great divide with the different unique take on SHADOW’S FAR Lost In Contemplation.

This is an explosion of talent and endless variety on the album. Exceptional harmonies and blistering raw classic sounding metal combine together to make one unforgettable collection. Breaking The Love is an admirable portrayal of this bands royal potential. Amazing guitars (Serge Mattli and Bruno Bomatter), remarkable drums (Remo Poletti), and the sole bass (Markus Walker), in conjunction with Dany Philipp’s potent voice makes this album stand out above others. These guys already have their music raging for them and will make an impression on any listener. Watch out, because the SHADOW’S FAR isn’t as far away as they seem.
