JAKA in the year of 2010 – that means no simple riff- and idea recordings like presented by Luxusvernichtung. That means no incense smokers loll their lumbers on a colorful yellow underground. That means no discussion if the actual long-player contains Popgrind or Grindpop. JAKA is another way – JAKA lives through a serious undertone. The beloved trademarks, the sociocritical lyrics, the extreme sound, the nag- and growl-mutants are still part of it. However the musical expression has changed – and this sounds damned persuasive! The JAKA dudes abandoned technical nick-nacks nearly unexceptional. No excessive postproduction or tons of takes. The instruments sound organic, direct, honest and straight in your face. Tone-technical refinements were reduced, the songwriting was pimped. In the well-known eruptions presented by Bilder Fressen Strom longer instrumental parts are embedded. And if they take pleasure in it three instrumental tracks are dished. The best argument for all critics who attest the guy’s based in the Ruhr area one-dimensionality in the extreme. Every grinder, metalhead, Punk satisfies its wants when listening to this album. Bilder Fressen Strom has no need of guest vocals by Willi Wucher in Links, this record is well-constructed – not only by the mix of Jacob Bredahl. JAKA 2010, that means much more mighty expression than before!
