Yesterday
Mastodon in the south, tonight DAF in the north. What a
contrast *lol* Temperatures remains the same, icy coldness, in
the north are just a few snowflakes pleasing us ;)
I visit the Rosenhof for the very first time. It’s very
comfortable location, not so much hosting such kind of concerts
I guess, more cabaret and theater and if music than probably of
a different shade.

One could
say: never change a winning team, since ::
TYSKE
LUDDER :: already supported DAF on their last tour.
On time, totally unspectacular and free of stage lights sounds
got started and jumped all band members on stage and went on the
rampage. The audience react much restrained and watch the show
from afar. That again provokes singer Claus Albers to his sugar-Goth
rants. Well, pretty much worn out. Besides, he seemingly has spent
too much time with Agonoize and suddenly appeared with a latex
mask pretending to be the chavvy motherfucker. Rather ridiculous
if you ask me. However, step by step attendees could be enticed
to come closer to the stage and to start dancing. Some tried it
with these cute Industrial dance moves. I actually like TYSKE
LUDDER, but tonight they seemed to be sort of misplaced. Although
putting much energy into their performance TYSKE LUDDER
could not anybody kick off its socks.
Side note: most people were watching the visuals on the band’s
screens instead of dealing with the band itself…
Setlist: Eugenix, Wie der Stahl..., Androgyner Held,
Bastard, An vordester Front, Canossa, Shokkz, Hexenjagd, Panzer

The curtain
falls and opens again, allegorical, while Mr. Goerl starts his
sound machine and frenetic applause welcomes Mr. Delgado-López.
:: DAF
:: kick off with Verschwende Deine Jugend, such
classic track, the best you could take for an opener. It takes
around a second and everybody is close to the stage and starts
dancing and singing along. Those, who know DAF know their
songs too. Their setlist never changes that much. And there is
not that much to add. DAF just got to rock! And they do
and do it again and again. Mr. Delgado-López hardly ever
stops moving and loves to share his water with everybody and upon
himself. He provokes and he flirts, with the crowd and his own
sex-appeal. The crowd of course freaks out and wants more. Two
encores were granted, then DAF thank heartily and the curtain
falls forever. Yes! To attend a DAF show is always pleasure,
a great experience and guarantee to have a fabulous evening (even
with Gandalf and suspenders in mind *laughs*)
