[Dajana] Yes! As already mentioned in the intro, this year somehow everything was much nicer, less burdened, more relaxed. Everything felt much better :) We met many nice people, were part of a great camp, and head great weather. So once again an all-around relaxed and nice festival. We know why we come back every year ;) A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to the PARTY SAN OPEN AIR makers and a 1000 hearts ♥♥♥ (I'll just do 3 ;)) to all the other people involved behind the scenes! It was - as always - an absolute feast for us to be there!
Yes, the line-up this year has weakened a bit. Though, there were many killer performances. THE highlight of the PARTY SAN METAL OPEN AIR 2023 undoubtedly was ENSLAVED, followed by DYING FESTUS, YOTH IRIA (what a surprise) , OBITUARY, GATECREEPER and ENDSEEKER.
Many desired bands, especially from overseas (no matter if East or West) are not so easy to get anymore, because it is not (anymore) profitable for many of them, since prices almost explode, or their fees (would) blow up the budget. That's just the current state of the music industry, and it will probably stay that way for a while. But the outlook (see above) to 2024 is all the more impressive! :) I am already looking forward to the PARTY SAN METAL OPEN AIR 2024!

[BRT] For me it was once again a top PARTY SAN METAL OPEN AIR! The atmosphere was great, our camp was mega, we met a lot of great people and saw some very, very great bands. Maybe the "quieter" bands like THE NIGHT ETERNAL or (in the meantime) BORKNAGAR came a bit too short, because sometimes it needs a bit of easing between all the Death Metal massacres.
Apart from that I don't want to complain so much about the line-up. The general problems and costs in the music business are widely discussed and we are probably only have the option of observing them from afar. But, what the colleagues from PARTY SAN METAL OPEN AIR have called for next year looks really great, just wow!
Special highlights for me this year: GATECREEPER, DYING FETUS, YOTH IRIA, BORKNAGAR, STORMKEEP, DYING FETUS, IMMOLATION and of course ENSLAVED. It was quite a party we celebrated there and I'm already looking forward to next year

[Öko] I have to admit: It was not my PSOA! That had private reasons on the one hand, on the other hand the billing wasn't very exciting either. That's why I didn't see that many bands. That's why I didn't see almost anything live on Saturday. But it was nice to meet old and new friends and have a beer or two with them!

[Seb] As always, the PSOA was one hundred percent worth the trip and one is already looking forward to the next edition at the moment of departure. The camping was much less "bad" than I had feared, which was certainly also due to the nice company in our small camp - only warm water I would like to have in 2024, please.
ENSLAVED
were killer, URGEHAL convinced me after more than 11 years just like "back then" and DYING FETUS were excellent as expected. With THE RUINS OF BEVERAST also this year a band managed to "hold" me for a complete gig in the tent and in the middle of a stuffy, smelly and musty turmoil. Disappointing were only the very short performances of ENDSTILLE and NILE, which was due to technical problems and less to the bands themselves.
Only one urgent request for 2024 I have: Please improve the handling with accreditation papers and wristbands at the press booth. Waiting in line for over an hour and then having to traipse around the whole festival area to the other entrance costs too much time and nerves. Thanks to the security that I was spared the second part of it this time due to my defective leg: dragging the luggage from two weeks of holidays around the pudding otherwise would have sucked badly. See you in 2024, the first band announcements already look promising!
